How a Family Prays!

We were dead, empty, and searching for life—then Christ gave us everything at once: a new identity, a new family, a new inheritance, a new place to sit. But like driving a new car without realizing everything already built into it, we keep asking God for more, when Paul prays that our eyes would be opened to see what is already ours in Christ. Maybe biblical prayer isn’t, “God, give me more,” but “God, help me see how full I already am.”
